AMA RECAP — CRYPTOSCREEN INDONESIA with DFILE
On 11 October 2020, DFILE conducted an AMA in the Cryptoscreen Indonesia Community. Our guest is Tn. Shelestoy Denis, CTO of DFILE.
Lots of questions as usual from the Community about Dfile progress. The Dfile team took part in a very interesting AMA session which included introductions, questions from twitter, and a live AMA session with the Cryptoscreen Indonesia community. Den: Hi all! I’m glad to be on CRYPTOSCREEN INDONESIA!!
Samuel Yabes: Before we start the first session. We want to know little about your backgrounds
Den: I started developing from early childhood. One of the first outstanding services — WillDev — a service for searching and checking programmers
There are several posts about me in the media, so anyone can study information about me and my experience in development and entrepreneurship.
Samuel Yabes: I would like to know your background on crypto
Den: My crypto skills are creating smart contracts, network protocols and working with web 3. I started work at crypto in 2017 as CTO of DeNet. i create idea of fully decentralized hosting and work on it till now
Samuel Yabes: Can you introduce DFILE to our community?
Den: DFILE — is first ever DeFI Staking token based on file storage, in 2017 we founded DeNet with idea of decentralized hosting, and first inevitable stage of development is file storage, we started developing DeNet.Storage by implementing it in B2B market. In 2020, we realized that we were ready to enter b2c market. and we are going to release DeNet.Storage with DFILE token.

Samuel Yabes: What products does DFILE currently have? And in the future, will it only focus on current products or add more products?
Den: As mentioned above, we released DeNet.Storage (DeNet.BOX) — a decentralized file storage that is used by computers of any private company. Alpha DeNet.Hosting (now frozen), and basic version of the digsig messages algorithm — it allows decentralized and blockchain-free transfer of commands and messages between different types of devices.
The main directions are the AppMarket, lighning payments and development of a decentralized cloud capable of working under standard protocols of centralized cloud services
Samuel Yabes: There are 4 advantages of DFile, such as:
• Low storage cost
• Low system requirements regarding FileCoin
• Convenient storage
• Token on Ethereum: you can pay for services with any token in the Etehreum network With these 4 advantages.
can DFile be the best compared to other conventional storage. How sure are you of that?
Den: We have already confirmed this, you can read the test results in private companies. We’ve implemented a WebDav provider to work with any OS. And tests have confirmed that, on average, no more than 50 MB of RAM is required to work for both the node and the user application.
The key step for us was the rejection of full work in the blockchain and the transfer of work to off-chain / side-chain transactions, which do not require significant resources for computing and storing data.
Nodes and users turn to blockchain only in two cases — when control evidence is produced or when some problem arises (for example, an attempt to give incorrect data
Samuel Yabes: What are the differences and usability of DFILE and DNET tokens? And where can people get both tokens?
Den: DNET token was created in 2018 and its a token of the DeNet company. DFile is a token that is fully bound with DNET token. The difference between both tokens is that DNET token is frozen until the main products are completely ready and after this, either there will be several networks, all holders of DFILE tokens will be able to exchange them for DNET tokens back. Up to this point, each time new products from DeNet are released, all DNET token holders will receive an equal number of tokens. Also the DFILE token is on vesting for 12 months.
Answering the last question, I can say that DFILE tokens can be taken only from DNET tokens. DNET tokens can be obtained at the company’s bounty or you can contact us to buy DNET tokens.
Samuel Yabes: Total token supply of 5,000,000,000 DFILE (10 years Supply) Does that mean the total DFILE Supply will increase after 10 years or in the future there will be a Burn program?
Den: Of course not!) The number of 5,000,000,000 can only be reached if all conditions are completed:
• All users will participate in all types of staking
• All of the users wont forget about their tokens, because of Auto Burn if you do not use the token for more than 128/256/365 days (more in tokenpaper)
The burning of tokens is provided in Lighning Payments and App Market, but we will tell about this in articles on the medium
Segment 2: Questions from the Twitter
Question 1: How can a regular user of Dfile Online benefit from the platform considering that most of us have i.e. mobile phones and tablets. Can the solutions be implemented on those devices to create an ad-free environment?
Den: Of course, this is what we plan to do by implementing an App Market, where developer’s fee for using app is made up of the storage fee, I think you have studied our whitepaper well.
Question 2: What is the advantages if we store our file on DFILE? Why we must choose DFILE while we can store our data online on more popular storage platform like Google Drive, MediaFire, etc.?
Den: To ensure maximum comfortable transition to WEB 3.0, a user should not only have a file storage with unique functions — the user should have everything that he or she uses every day: Mail, Forums, his own eBay, Music, Books, Taxi, Food delivery, Social networks, etc.
Usually, separate decentralized and centralized counterparts are closed after the launch, after 3–36 months, so the users of these applications / startups are lost. In our case, when someone stops using a separate application, they will remain in the ecosystem, for example, listen to music, sell products, etc., or remain in another application.
Same analogy can be drawn with Ethereum and individual projects based on Ethereum, they may close in a month, but the audience they bring to the common ecosystem will stay and will bring growth to other applications-Metamask, Etherscan, Uniswap, Mooniswap, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and centralized exchanges — these are the projects that touch on Web3 at their core.
Question 3: On moving forward through your roadmap, what are your most important next priorities? Does DFILE team have enough fundamental ( Funds, Community, ect ) to achieve those milestones?
Den: It is important for us to make products convenient and useful for users, we have a team, but we need to expand it, for which we are open to investing from private funds, we can grow up a community quickly, we have enough proven experience in development.
Many tasks have already been implemented in 2018–2019 and require final revision and entry into the b2c market, which is what we are doing now.
We also filed a patent application in the field of decentralized hosting
Question 4: Currently DFile is holding many community events like airdrops, bounties, giveaways and AMAs. My question is, what kind of feedback does DFile Project expect from these events? What is the benefits of these events for DFile and its community?
Den: As I wrote earlier, we are aimed at creating a community in the market. b2c, which can and will use the services of our network — Storage, Lightning Payments, App Market, etc.
More people we attract at start, more app developers will be interested in transferring their software to our decentralized platform
Question 5: Revenue is an important aspect for all projects in order to survive and keep the project / company up and running. What is $DFILE way of generating profit / revenue? What is the income model?
Den: From the point of view of motivating team and developers, there is a fund that consists of initial emission of tokens, investor funds and established commission within App Market, and any developer can also specify what percentage of funds received in his application will be transferred to fund.
I also wanted to note the fact that we are not going to make all apps only on our own, we want to make it simple and convenient to integrate any app from a regular network into ours. Including centralized applications and dapps.
Segment 3: Free/Live Questions
Telegram User: What is total supply of $DFILE ? Where we can buy it? Are your plans to focus on market or to grow community?
Den: In the first year, no more than 1B DFILE will be issued, for the next 10 years the total volume of token issue is calculated as 5B.
It will be available for purchase on Uniswap and Mooniswap. In terms of focus, we are focused on creating and developing a product that is useful for society — a secure cloud, starting with file storage, the main goal is to attract as many users as possible to create a stable network.
Telegram User: As I am a developer with knowledge of programming languages such as solidity, C ++, Java etc., can I create Dapps on your platform ? And HOW easy to create dapps on you platform???
Den: In general, if you know how to work with Web3, then everything is quite simple, instead of storing on S3 or other storage, you add ours and your application begins to store data in a decentralized network
Telegram User: Many projects rug pulled and exit scam recently. Why should investors trust your project not to do the same?
Den: As you can see, we have been working since 2017, when many of our colleagues left the market, we stayed and continued to work even when we were in the valley of death and completely without resources and did not abandon the product. Now investors can trust us because we have proven that the product is workable and useful.
Telegram User: As Personal Data is very Impotant, How will You provide total security?
Den: We are really working on complete data security and our key advantage is client-side encryption, each piece of data is encrypted with a unique key
