AMA RECAP — CRYPTOSCREEN INDONESIA with DAOSWAP
On 14 October 2020, DaoSwap conducted an AMA in the Cryptoscreen Indonesia Community. Our guest is Tn. Benjamin, CTO of DaoSwap.
Lots of questions as usual from the Community about DaoSwap progress. The DaoSwap team took part in a very interesting AMA session which included introductions, questions from twitter, and a live AMA session with the Cryptoscreen Indonesia community. Benjamin: Yes
Samuel Yabes: Can you introduce DAOswap to our community?
Benjamin: DAOswap is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that enables its community members to earn passive incomes form their digital assets. This is actually done by the means of yield farming, and staking
Samuel Yabes: What does DAOswap offer to investors?
Benjamin: DAOswap has its own platforms for staking and yield farming, where you can put your crypto to work. The platforms are controlled by smart contracts that are deployed on top of the Ethereum blockchain. Once the conditions specified in the smart contracts are met, the rewards are released.
Samuel Yabes: What are the advantages or benefits of using DaoSwap?
Benjamin: Being a decentralized platform, DAOswap has no intermediaries or governing bodies. As an investor, you can enjoy complete control over your assets. The assets can be withdrawn from the pools at any time. 100% decentralization also brings you the advantage of lower or no processing fee.
Samuel Yabes: When will the Token sale start? What is the minimum and maximum to develop? Are there any conditions to contribute? And how much is the allocation for the token sale?
Benjamin: The token sale starts in a week from now. Yes of course there is a threshold on both ends for purchasing the token. The minimum invest is 0.1ETH and the maximum limit is 50ETH. There are no conditions to invest, you can enjoy utmost freedom. The 50% of the total supply I.e.25,000 DVS tokens are allocated for the sale.
Samuel Yabes: After the public sale is finished. What are the next steps for DAOswap?
Benjamin: Once the public sale is Completed, the testnet and the security infrastructure will be launched. Following this, the DVS tokens will be listed in Coingeko, Coinmarketcap, and other CEX exchanges as well.
Segment 2: Questions from the Twitter
Question 1: Can DaoSwap meet all the features and needs of the financial ecosystem? Can it offer Speed,Security,strong infrastructure, innovative ecosystem,stable use and traditional bank solutions together? Can DaoSwap be the chief architect of the financial ecosystem?
Benjamin: Of course, yes. DAOswap is secured to the core. Since the decentralized applications are built on the top of Ethereum blockchain, every single is transaction is recorded and there is no way the data could be tampered with. DAOswap also offers you the facility to keep track of your investments and earnings through an easy to interpret dashboard. This satisfies the modus operandi of a good financial system which is transparency. Notably, DAOswap unlike other centralized financial systems allows you to have a complete control over your assets
Question 2: Is @daoswap really DECENTRALIZED or CENTRALIZED? or BOTH? Because website says “DAOswap on the other hand is centralized and operates based on distributed ledger technology” . ?
Benjamin: Undoubtedly, DAOswap is 100% decentralized. I regret for the type error in the site. It is decentralized and you can enjoy the perks of it.
Question 3: You have an ambitious roadmap. Do you have any plan to launch your mainnet or integrating with other blockchains like bep20, trc20 as they offer some advantages as compared to the existing erc20 blockchain?
Benjamin: At the initial stages, we have planned to integrate our mainnet only with the etherum blockchain. But in future, as a part of extension, there might be TRON supported platform as well. The reason for opting Ethereum is that staking and yield farming is seamless with an ERC-20 token and we just went away with the trend.
Question 4: Can we know about DaoSwap staking? What’s the reward like? What’s the minimum amount I can stake? Where can I stake presently?
Benjamin: The project is under development and the staking platform remains unlaunched. The platform will be completely functional after the token sale. The DAOswap has its own staking DApp, where you can stake your tokens and receive rewards. The rewards will also be DVS tokens.
Question 5: how much slower are the orders on #DaoSwap as opposed to uniswap as a result of the aggregation of orders ??? is there a specified batch time ?
Benjamin: In the case of batch auctions, the orders are collected into a batch in discrete time and then they are executed. This probably takes some more time than continuous execution of orders. There is no accurate batch time.
